Lori St.George is a founding member of The Network Social Club (TNSCI, The Network). A sisterhood of friends and colleagues and a system of purposeful service, The Network is an association of accomplished, professional women dedicated to building a unified support group that fosters camaraderie, positive change and professional growth among women and minorities around the globe.
Via strategic networking, education and public advocacy, members of The Network enjoy the company of good friends and the fulfillment of being a part of something big. To meet the diverse needs of its members, and to speak to the issues of professional women and minorities around the globe, Network sponsored activities and programs are designed to:
- Provide enrichment and encouragement to women and minorities as they uniquely deal with
- the institutional barriers of racism and sexism
- the economic, political and societal forces that impede personal and professional development
- Provide women and minorities with greater resources to aid in their career development;
- Encourage increased understanding, communication and collaboration among diverse women to leverage their collective presence.
- Develop leaders who will help to rebuild their communities
- Empower and enable women and minorities to be a visible force in the corporate, political and socioeconomic arenas
- Provide meaningful guidance to young women and men via education, role modeling and mentoring.
- Provide career advancement resources, growth strategies and personal and professional connections
- Sponsor social events and activities that are fun and entertaining for Network members and friends.
Conferences, events and programs sponsored by The Network are vital tools for connecting professional women and minorities across the country as they learn from each other, support each other, network, improve working conditions, and create lifelong connections.
